The 1998 Fall SRMA meeting on copyright and the Internet featured attorney, John Montana, and Raymond Clark of the Denver Public Library’s Photo Digitization project. Montana explained current U.S. Copyright laws (USC Title 17) and how they impact archives and libraries. Clark outlined the DPL photo digitization project and explained watermarking and other methods of protecting digital images on the World Wide Web. The meeting concluded with a presentation on the joint SRMA/MAC meeting in october 1999.
