<description>Dean David Dynak at UCD&#039;s College of Arts &amp; Media has announced that Anne Smatla has been named managing director for the Denver Silent Film Festival. Ms. Smatla has considerable experience restoring and preserving silent films, including her work at The Cinema Lab in Englewood, CO. She was a 2008 recipient of the San Francisco Silent Film Festival Preservation Fellowship, where she spent three weeks at Monaco Digital Film Labs restoring a 35mm nitrate film from the George Eastman House collection.
Could I send this news story to the editor(s) of your newsletter regarding this announcement for their consideration? If this might be possible, would you be kind to send the contact information to my email address noted above.

Many thanks.
