1. Welcome and Introductions
2. Approval of March 12, 2007 Minutes – Minutes approved
3. Debrief of SRMA/CIMA conference (Allaina)
- Attendance 116; 1 scholarship
31 feedback forms received
10 attendees at CDP program; 20 attendees at Archives 101 program; 97 attendees at opening reception;
28 attendees at Pikes Peak Tour; 30 attendees at Air Force Tour
Check from CIMA has been received
Comments- need for advance planning on future meetings; difficult because of turnover of program chairs
some advance planning needed for hotel arrangements
Appreciation award for Leah - ~$50.00
Attendance estimate of 150 too high – lower estimate for future joint conferences
4. Update on Fall Conference (Holly)
- September 21st in Fort Collins. Topic – More Product, Less Processing
- Speaker for afternoon presentation cancelled – Looking for someone to discuss preservation
- September 20th – SAA DACS Workshop – Nancy Freeman making arrangements
5. Future Conferences (Holly and Patty)
- Spring 2008 – June 6th or 13th tentative dates – Possible topics include material culture, forensic document examination,
or handling of odd objects in collections – Denver/Metro area, size and cost of room a problem
2010 – Western Roundup – Seattle possible

Discrepancies with income from fall conference between debriefing document, treasurer’s report, and meeting minutes.
Holly will contact Gary and Allaina for documentation and go over details with D.C.

7. Newsletter Update (Kent)
- Next deadline September 15th
Factual errors in last issue – corrected version sent to Cecily
Newsletter needs to be out before Fall Conference
Idea to include profile of members – Kent will ask a board member and other member for each issue
- Suggestion to post profiles of board members on web page
Material on server from 1999 – Cecily will save to CD and send to Becky if she is agreeable – Need migration plan
Statistical report of web use – Cecily will send by email quarterly
Creation of repository directory – Cecily needs idea of what is wanted
Will look into possibility of existing list (members? Colorado State Library?)
Need Archives Month Activities from members
Will discuss online registration for conferences and memberships at future meeting

Print directories will be sent upon request
- Contact information has been updated on website – Preservation pages on website need updating
Diana has photographic kit; Carl has environmental kit
- Legal Aspects of Photography Rights (SAA Workshop) – attendance limited to 45
location (Holly volunteered Denver Water, but parking a problem) – date in conjunction with Spring conference
Past Perfect Workshop suggested on Yahoo Group
Training for people who already have product (4 or 5 showed interest)
SRMA will help with promotion but will not sponsor
SAA scholarship – 5 applications – up to $700.00 – based on need and benefits of conference to applicant
special consideration given to 1st time attendees
SRMA will reimburse expenses
Scholarship committee – Jody and D.C. will create a proposal for a standing scholarship committee
and form the types of scholarships to be offered
Scholarships will not be considered a conference cost for local conferences in budget
- Holly is pursuing the idea of a debt card for conference organizers (program chairs)
13. New Business
- Archives Month (Leslie) – Poster has been submitted – Rocky Mountain memories program will continue, need to line up speakers and venues
SAA Conference – Patty, Kent, Holly, D.C. will be attending – brochures will be distributed – other ideas for SRMA presence at SAA?
Next Meeting will be held in October in Boulder
